The Final match of Cooch Behar Trophy Under 19 (2016-17) is being played between Delhi and Bengal at Feroz Shah Kotla Stadium, New Delh. The toss was won by Delhi who chose to bat First. The home team tumbled but gave a respectable score of 314 runs. Anuj Rawat scored the most 77 while Manjot Kalra and Ankur Kaushik Scored 53 and 46 respectively. Akash Pandey took the most 4 wickets while Rajarshi Mitra took 3 wickets. The visitors had to bat now. They lost a wicket on the very 2nd ball of the innings of Sudip Kumar. They settled again and coming on 1st down Saurabh Singh scored 196 runs and he also batted continuously for 6 sessions. With him Kanishk Seth also played well for his 91 runs and they both gave Bengal the First innings lead in the final which was enough to win for them. Bengal ended on 393. From bowlers, Vishwas Malik took 4 wickets and SS haider, Harsh Tyagi, Simanjeet SIngh took 2-2 wickets each. Coming out to bat for few hours the home side made 60 runs loosing 4 wickets. Akash Pandey again did major damage by picking 3 wickets.
