In this episode, Radio Dwarka caught up with state junior badminton champion Vashu Farshwal Sehrawat to know how he fell in love with the shuttle.
A volleyball player, he couldn't find a place in the state junior team. Disappointed, he joined an academy and started playing badminton at the age of 15. There has been no looking back for him since then.
He follows a strict routine so that studies and games don't suffer. "My father has been my pillar of strength, and he always egged me on to perform better."
A vegetarian, he loves to eat fresh and healthy food.
He plans to join Delhi University and take his sporting career to new heights.
