The match 10 of U-16 Vijay Merchant Trophy was played between Delhi and Haryana at Roshnara Club Ground. The toss was won by Delhi who chose to bowl first. Openers Vivek Yadav and Sagar Dahiya played a major role on a foggy day. Their first wicket fell on 73 runs at 14th over. Vivek was the batsman who got out on 32. But Sagar didnt stop he smashed a 50. Unfortunately, he got out on 55 by Abhijeet Singh of the home side. But then, problems didnt end for Delhi. On 1 down came Mayank Dahiya. He scored 106 runs and got out by Kamal Bairwa. Nehal Pajni also played a good hand, he scored 39 runs. From Delhi, Abhijeet Singh and Kamal Bairwa picked up 2-2 Wickets each. At stumps of Day-1, Haryana were 268/6 in 72 overs.
