Australia-based couple Pallavi and Anshuman are engineers-turned-entrepreneurs, who started 'Neev', an e-magazine exclusively for children in January 2016.
“Our magazine is for children in the age group of 5-15. The content is centred around India and it gives them an insight into different aspects of India and its rich culture,” says Pallavi, adding that they stumbled upon the idea of starting a magazine specifically for children quite accidently while looking for a story on Einstien for school children for Anshuman’s mother’s school project.
"The content of our magazine is diverse. We have audio as well as written content and illustrations to cater to a growing child's curiosity. We want to teach them the good uses of technology and inculcate reading habits early on in life," says Anshuman, who doubles up as a writer for the magazine, contributing stories and poems on a regular basis. The magazine has unique content, both in Hindi and English, and is accompanied by an audio version for easy reading. For the magazine's on-ground marketing, they are in the process of relocating.
