Sameer hits 212 as Delhi faces Inning Defeat, Cooch Behar Trophy

The 23rd Match of Cooch Behar Trophy was played between Delhi and Uttar Pradesh at Jamia Millia Islamia, Delhi in which, UP won the toss and chose to bat first. Batting first UP made a mammoth total of 635 runs declaring their innings with the loss of 6 wickets, thanks tto Sameer Rizvi who scored 212 runs with Centuries of Anchit Yadav and Dhruv Jurel scoring 134 and 100* respectively. Coming to bat, Delhi were bundeled out for 182 runs and the follow-on was enforced. Mohit Jangra and Shivam Sharma took 4-4 wickets each. Coming again to bat, Delhi showed some resistance but were again all-out for 241 runs and lost the match by an innings and 212 runs. Vaibhav Kandpal scored 85 runs while Anmol Sharma scored 56. UP got 7 points while Delhi got nil.
