The 14th Match of Col C K Nayudu Trophy (2017-18) was played between Delhi and Vidarbha at Vidarbha Cricket Association Stadium, Nagpur. On Day-1, Delhi won the toss and chose to bat first. The visitors started well as both the openers gained good starts but unfortunately failed to convert them in big scores. Salil scored 38 and on the other hand Hiten Dalal got out on 29. Then Rajesh Sharma with help of Lalit Yadav handled the innings. Unfortunately Rajesh Sharma got out on 59 runs but there was no stopping on Lalit Yadav as he went on to score 118* in 169 balls with 15 fours and 4 sixes. Wicket-Keeper batsman Dinesh Mor also continued his good form as he also scored 56*. Dinesh and Lalit took the visitors score to 318/5 in 90 Overs. From the bowling side A M Deshpande was the pick of the bowlers as he took 4 wickets. The umpires for the match are Ramesh Kumar, Abhijeet Bengeri while the match Referee is Satyajit Satbhai.
