The Match 40 of Cooch Behar Trophy Under 19 (2016-17) is being played between Delhi and Uttar Pradesh at Firoz Shah Kotla Ground. The Toss was won by Delhi who chose to bat first. The swashbuckling No.5 Mayank Rawat scored 88 runs on Day-1, and held Delhi's inning. After then Sumit Mathur played a gritty innings and remained not out on 60*. On Day-2 Delhi got all-out on 373 runs. Sumit Mathur was the one to look at as he scored 87 runs and Syed Saqlain Haider also scored 39 runs. Vineet Panwar from the visiting team took 6 Wickets and Trishal Trivedi took 3 wickets. Then was the batting of UP. Priyam K Garg was the lone warrior from the UP Side as he scored 148 runs. After him the highest score was of Abhishek Goswami who scored 42. From the home side, Harsh Tyagi took 3 wickets and Mayank Rawat with Simranjeet Singh shared 2-2 wicket each. Then 2nd innings for Delhi started. Both the openers are unbeaten till end of Day-3. Manjot Kalra is bating on 50* while Ankur Kaushik is batting on 49*. On Day-4, the last Day of the match, Ankur Kaushik the opener scored 137 runs and took Delhi to a comfortable score from where they drew the match and took 1st inning lead. Jonty Siddhu also batted well for his 76. Delhi finished on 354/6 in 89 Overs and took 3 points because of 1st inning lead.
