A MEANINGFUL STRUGGLE IS BETTER THAN PRETENSION
In this episode, Amog Lilla Dasji says that a meaningful struggle is better than pretension.
In the earlier verse, Lord Krishna had said that one who claims to have forcefully renounced worldly pleasures in an attempt to pursue spiritual knowledge but deep within is still reflecting on the objects of the senses is a cheat and a charlatan. In this Shloka, Lord Krishna tries to emphasise the predominant role of the mind in influencing our thoughts. He says that performing a selfless action without any attachment with sincerity is better than someone who pretends to renounce the worldly pleasures half-heartedly in pursuit of spiritual knowledge.
