Focus On Action - Not Fruits
In this episode, Amog Lilla Dasji says that one must focus only on actions and not on outcome.
In Shloka 47, Lord Krishna tells Arjuna that he only has the right to perform without thinking about the result. He advises him that he must not be attached to not doing one's duty. Lord Krishna advises that everyone has the right only to perform one's duty with utmost sincerity to purify one's existence and advance in spiritual knowledge. But one should not cultivate one's mind to think that by the right to perform the action, one receives rewards. It is destructive to spiritual advancement because then one will get attached to the actions and then subsequently to the rewards. He emphasises that detachment is the key to salvation. One who performs actions without any attachment to the rewards will surely receive his share.
