Radio Dwarka invited newly crowned third runner-up Miss Tiara India Beauty With Cause Shubhangana Vishwanathan to know how it feels to be a beauty pageant winner. She also won the title of Miss Tiara Iconic Eyes at the contest held in Mumbai.
A young resident of the suburb, she says that winning the title helped prove that a girl of average height can also win a beauty pageant. "The cut-off in almost all the pageant is that contestant should not be less that 5 feet 7 inches tall. But this contest is different because it gives an opportunity to all, irrespective of one's height and other parameters on which people often judge a girl," says Vishwanathan, a budding journalist.
Appointed as the brand ambassador of the Tiara Group for North India, she will represent India at another beauty contest abroad. She plans to complete her Masters in Journalism, finish her documentary and make a career as a producer of the show.
